Accessibility
409 Woodbury is for the whole neighborhood, online and in person.
Our commitment
409 Woodbury Events wants every guest to be able to use this website and enjoy the venue. This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for websites.
What we’ve done on this site
- Keyboard access: every menu, link, button, form field, and FAQ panel works without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link at the top of each page.
- Text you can read: body text is 17 pixels or larger, headings follow a logical order, and color contrast meets the AA ratio on every button and paragraph. Poppy is used for large text and accents only.
- Photos with descriptions: every image carries alt text that says what’s in it, so screen readers describe the rooms.
- Forms that explain themselves: every field has a visible label, and required fields are marked.
- Motion you can turn off: if your device is set to reduce motion, the animations stop and the photo strip stands still.
- Works at any size: the site resizes from phone to desktop and to 200 percent browser zoom without losing content.

Ask us about step-free entry, accessible restrooms, and parking for your guests, and we’ll walk you through the details on your tour.
